In a tragic incident at IIT Hyderabad, a student named Mamaita Naik took his own life. Mamaita, who was a first-year MTech student, hanged himself from a fan due to mental stress. This comes after the suicide of Karthik in July, which had already caused concern among the students.
According to Sangareddy Rural SS, Mamaita Naik committed suicide in his room on Monday. He had just joined the first year of MTech on July 26. Other students discovered the incident and immediately informed the police. In a note found in Mamaita’s room, he stated that no one else was responsible for his death and that he was suffering from mental stress.
