In Hyderabad, tomato prices are decreasing, bringing relief to the common man. On Monday, 850 quintals of tomatoes were received in the city, with an additional 2,450 quintals on the same day. This increase in supply has caused the prices to go down.

Furthermore, large quantities of tomatoes are also being brought in from surrounding districts of Hyderabad. Currently, the price of one kilogram of tomato in Rythu Bazar is Rs. 63, while in the outside market it can be as high as Rs. 120. However, traders predict that by the end of August, there is a possibility of the price dropping below Rs. 50.
