Wanaparthy: Police Constable Suspended for Misconduct
AR Constable D. Ravikumar, with PC No.-2985, working in the Armed Reserve Division of Wanaparthy District, has been suspended. The suspension came after three criminal cases were registered against him at the Pebberu Police Station on the same day.
The constable was known for his lack of discipline, and his involvement in these cases raised serious concerns. The Sub-Inspector (SI) reported this matter to higher authorities for further action.
To investigate the issue, Kothakota Circle Inspector (CI) was appointed as the investigating officer. After completing the investigation, the CI submitted a detailed report to the District Superintendent of Police (SP).
Based on the findings, District SP D. Ravikumar issued suspension orders for the constable. The investigation revealed that Constable Ravikumar violated police disciplinary rules. The SP also issued a strict warning, stating that any police personnel found guilty of negligence or misconduct would face departmental disciplinary action.
