    Artisans in Telangana cautioned against striking over electricity

    The head of TSGenco and TSTransco, D Prabhakar Rao, has warned power artisans not to go on strike. The Chief Minister of Hyderabad, K Chandrashekar Rao, had previously agreed to a pay revision for the artisans despite financial difficulties. However, some artisans have announced plans to strike from April 25.

    Rao has reminded the artisans that due to the Essential Services Maintenance Act, their strike would be illegal and against company rules. He also warned employees not to support the strike.
