In Hyderabad, a RPF Jawan went on a shooting spree on a moving Jaipur-Mumbai Express train. He shot dead four people, including his senior. AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi called this incident a “terror attack.” He believes it is a result of continuous anti-Muslim hate speech and the unwillingness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address it.
Owaisi raised questions about the future of the accused RPF Jawan. He asked if the accused would become a future BJP candidate, if the government would support his bail, and if he would be celebrated upon release.
It is believed that three of the victims were targeted because they were bearded men with a Muslim identity. This happened after the accused RPF Jawan shot his senior.
