A shooting spree occurred on a moving train in which an RPF Jawan shot and killed four people, including his superior. AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi referred to this incident as a “terror attack.” Owaisi believes that this attack is a result of continuous anti-Muslim hate speech and the unwillingness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address it. He questioned whether the accused RPF Jawan will become a future BJP candidate and if the government will support his bail. Owaisi also questioned if the accused will be celebrated upon his release.
The victims in this incident are believed to be three bearded men who were targeted because of their Muslim identity after the accused had shot his senior.
