Government Supports Disabled Persons with Tools and Training

Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav stated that the government is introducing new schemes to improve the lives of disabled individuals.

She attended a program at NTR Stadium, organized by the Education Department and Samagra Shiksha Department, where tools were distributed to people with special needs.

Speaking at the event, she said the goal is to help disabled individuals become self-sufficient by providing them with necessary tools. These tools will make their daily lives easier. Additionally, special training will be provided through Bhavita Center, and efforts will be made to create job and employment opportunities for them.

With the support of Alinco, the Collector distributed 133 assistive devices worth about ₹7.7 lakh to 91 disabled persons in the district. She also interacted with the beneficiaries and encouraged them to use the equipment properly.

Several officials, including DEO P. Rama Rao, MEO Nageshwar Rao, and other education department staff, along with patrons and beneficiaries, participated in the event.
