Australia has regained its position at the top of the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings after an annual update that dropped results from the 2019-20 season. Pakistan is in second place, just two points behind Australia, with India one point behind Pakistan. The three teams will be playing in the ODI World Cup in India at the end of the year.

The update reflects all matches completed since May 2020 and weighs matches completed before May 2022 at 50 percent and subsequent matches at 100 percent. If Pakistan had completed a 5-0 sweep in the series against New Zealand, they would have remained at the top of the ODI rankings even after the annual update.
