Officials conducted a raid on the premises of the blood bank after receiving information about these illegal activities.

The blood bank was only permitted to deal with whole human blood, but during the raid, it was found that they were preparing and distributing unauthorized blood components such as single donor platelets, packed RBC, and plasma. The technicians at the blood bank did not have the necessary equipment to carry out these processes.
