    Wanaparthy District: Special Meeting Held to Discuss Loan Distribution Ahead of CM Visit

    District Collector Adarsh Surabhi has asked bankers to organize a special district-level consultation meeting. This meeting took place at the Collectorate Conference Hall on Thursday.

    During the meeting, the Collector announced that the Chief Minister of the state is expected to visit Wanaparthy district on December 21. As part of the visit, there will be a program to distribute cheques to beneficiaries of various schemes. These include MSME, PMEGP, Stand Up India, Mudra, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma, welfare department subsidy loans, and PM Swanidhi, which are linked to the joint Mahabubnagar district. To prepare for this, the Collector urged officials to ensure that all pending loan applications since 2019 are processed and approved. The cheques for these loans will be handed over to the Chief Minister during the event.

    The Collector also instructed the District Rural Development Department officers, welfare department officers, and bankers to work together to ensure that all loans under these schemes are finalized and distributed.

    A review of the progress made by banks in meeting their targets was conducted during the meeting. The officials were directed to achieve 100% of the set targets without delays.

    Additional Collector for Local Bodies Sanchit Gangwar, Lead Bank Manager Kaushal Kishore, NABARD DDM Shanmukh Chari, CGTMSE Murthy, PD DRDA Uma Devi, and other bank managers and officials participated in the meeting.
