Gadwal: The BRS party is gearing up for the upcoming local elections, aiming to showcase its strength and challenge the ruling Congress government. Basu Hanumanthu Naidu, in charge of the Gadwal constituency, led a meeting in Maldakal Mandal to rally party workers and underline the importance of grassroots efforts. Held at the Sri Sri Sri Swayambhu Lakshmi Venkateshwara Temple, Naidu emphasized the need for BRS members to unite and mobilize effectively.
Before the meeting, Naidu received a warm welcome with a large rally, highlighting the party’s enthusiasm. He participated in prayers and raised the BRS flag, signaling the start of the campaign. During the event, several Congress leaders from the mandal switched allegiance to BRS, marking a significant shift in local political dynamics.
Naidu criticized the Congress government, led by Revanth Reddy, accusing it of failing to deliver on promises and using diversion tactics to mislead the public. He encouraged BRS workers to expose these shortcomings and rally support for their party, which he claimed still holds the trust of the people through KCR’s welfare schemes.
The meeting saw participation from various leaders and party members, including former ZPTC Basu Shyamala and others. It served as a call to action for BRS workers to coordinate efforts like soldiers and strengthen their presence in local institutions.
Naidu’s speech aimed to inspire confidence among BRS members, urging them to capitalize on public dissatisfaction with Congress and work diligently for a victorious outcome in the elections. The event underscored BRS’s commitment to reconnecting with voters and reclaiming influence at the grassroots level, setting the stage for a competitive electoral battle.
