Hyderabad: Dundra Kumaraswamy, the national president of BC Dal, has called on the Backward Classes communities in Telangana to support the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the upcoming Assembly elections on November 30. This call comes as more BC intellectuals, students, and caste groups in Telangana are showing support for the BRS party.

Kumaraswamy emphasized that aligning with BRS is in the best interest of the BC community as the party truly cares about their well-being and has played a crucial role in the development of Telangana. He criticized the Congress and BJP for neglecting BCs and accused them of making empty promises during elections only to abandon the community afterwards.

In response to the BJP’s promise of having a BC Chief Minister if they win in Telangana, Kumaraswamy dismissed it as a mere election tactic. He alleged that the BJP is avoiding conducting a Caste Census and establishing a separate ministry for BCs, and is now attempting to deceive the people to gain their votes.
