BC Financial Aid | Hyderabad, June 21 (Namaste Telangana): The ‘BC Financial Aid’ program launched by the state government has received a total of 5.28 lakh applications from across the state. In order to improve the living standards of journalists working for various categories in the state, the government has initiated this program and has been accepting online applications from June 6th to 20th this month.
Out of the total applications, 3.80 lakh are from male applicants and 1.48 lakh are from female applicants. The highest number of applications, 1.18 lakh, have been received from the Rajaka community, followed by 56,000 from the Vadde community, 52,000 from the Kummar community, 45,500 from the Nayee Brahmin community, and 43,000 from the Vadra community. The authorities have appointed Mandal-level MPDOs and municipal commissioners to verify the eligibility of applicants up to 26th. Beneficiaries will receive a financial aid of Rs. 1 lakh every month.
