Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has assured that the current State government will not install individual meters on agricultural pump sets used by farmers.

During the budget discussion on Saturday evening, Bhatti addressed concerns raised by BRS leaders. He stated that unlike the BRS leaders who fear the government might burden farmers with power bills, the Congress government will not install meters on individual agricultural pump sets. Bhatti emphasized that since the Chief Minister has not promised any such measures, farmers can rest assured there will be no meters.
