Area General Manager Enugu Rajeshwar Reddy explained that the Singareni Collieries Company has created a plan for managing its underground mines in the SS-15 district during the first shift. This plan places a strong focus on increasing the role of women in mining operations.
To support this effort, the company built special rest rooms exclusive to female employees. Reddy noted that these facilities aim to improve both the comfort and safety of women on site. He added that giving attention to their well-being will encourage more active participation by female staff.
Several key officials attended the launch event. These included S.O. to GM Mr. S. Kaveendra, KT-1 Group Agent Mr. J. Venkataramana, Personnel Manager K. Maruthi, and Gan Manager Mr. Zakeer Hussain.
