Biryani vs Pulao Competition Held at KIMS College
Karimnagar: A special cooking event called ‘Biryani vs Pulao’ was organized at KIMS Degree and PG College and KIMS Hotel Management College. The event was conducted by the Telangana State Chef Association.
Students prepared and showcased around 200 varieties of biryani and pulao. Apart from KIMS institutes, students from various colleges in Karimnagar town also participated in the competition.
In the contest, Afiyamahan won the first place, J. Shivasai secured the second place, and V. Rahul came third. Each student who participated received a certificate.
Several dignitaries attended the event, including KIMS Group of Institutions chairman Dr. P. Ravinder Rao and vice chairman Saketh Rama Rao. Members from the Telangana State Chef Association, including chef Naveen, general secretary Rijwan, and executive members Sonali, Janardhan, Amith, Gourav, Pavan, Arun, Venkat, and Steve, were also present. Additionally, KIMS Group of Institutions principals B. Arjun Rao, Goutham, and Krishnamohan participated in the event.
