The Telangana BJP strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his allies on Sunday. They accused them of making careless claims against the Election Commission of India (ECI), aiming to damage trust in this important institution.

Subash, the BJP State Chief Spokesperson, urged the Opposition to work with the Commission instead of spreading false accusations. He emphasized that every Indian citizen aged 18 and above has the right to vote, as per the Constitution. The Chief Election Commissioner has promised to uphold this right. Subash pointed out that all political parties, including those criticizing today, are registered through the Election Commission. Thus, accusing the Commission of bias is contradictory.

Subash highlighted that the truth is being deliberately distorted. The Election Commission confirmed that the SIR process in Bihar involves district party representatives and Booth Level Officers (BLOs), chosen by the very parties now complaining. If their leaders don’t know this, it either shows a lack of communication within their parties or a deliberate attempt to create confusion.

The BJP also criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for a past voting controversy. Subash noted that when faced with double voting accusations, Yadav and his party failed to provide evidence, revealing the weakness of the Opposition’s claims. He assured that neither the Election Commission nor Indian voters would be intimidated by such false attacks. The BJP emphasized that the ECI stands firm with all voters, regardless of their background, ensuring fair treatment.

Subash concluded that the Congress and its allies might try to manipulate voter trust for political gain, but they will not succeed. Indian voters are wise enough not to be swayed by Rahul Gandhi’s actions. The Election Commission’s credibility remains strong, and the people’s faith in fair elections is unwavering.
