Gadwal: A flag-hoisting ceremony was held in Venkatapuram village of Aiza Mandal to celebrate the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foundation Day. The event was led by BJP Mandal President Gopalakrishna.
Former BJP District President S. Ramachandra Reddy attended the event as the chief guest. In his speech, he talked about the history of the BJP, which was founded by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on April 6, 1980. He proudly shared how the party has grown from winning just two seats in Parliament to now securing 303 seats. He also mentioned that the BJP runs governments on its own in 15 states and is part of ruling alliances in a total of 21 states across India.
Gadwal MLA and BJP candidate Shivareddy also spoke at the event. He said the BJP is a party known for its discipline and strong values. He added that the party is committed to clean and honest governance, working for the betterment of the country.
Many important party leaders and members joined the celebration. Among them were State Kisan Morcha Executive Member Bhimsen Rao, Venkatapuram Mahesh, Veerayya Achari, Bellam Narsinglu, Bheemudu, Shivaramudu, Shekhar, and many villagers from Venkatapuram.
