Medak: On Friday, Telangana State BJP President N. Ramchander Rao urged the public to let the BJP address the needs of the less fortunate. Speaking to a large crowd in Medak, he criticized the past governance of the BRS and Congress. Rao asked people to support the BJP in upcoming local elections to show dissatisfaction with the current Congress leadership’s unmet promises.

Rao assured that the BJP keeps its word and works hard for the people’s aspirations. He mentioned the party’s growth from cities to villages, boasting a membership of 40 lakh. Rao expressed confidence in the people’s trust in the BJP, hoping for their support in the next assembly elections.

He criticized CM Revanth Reddy‘s government for halting development while being distracted by trips to Delhi. Rao accused Congress of neglecting public welfare, especially for farmers and students, despite making numerous unfulfilled promises.

Rao claimed the Congress is misleading the public with a promise of 42% reservation for BCs. He stated that while the BJP supports reservations, it opposes religion-based quotas. He argued against a proposed 10% reservation for Muslims, saying it harms true BC communities. Rao cited an example where 35 out of 50 GHMC councillor seats were given to Muslims, affecting communities like Yadavs and Gouds.
