Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP is actively participating in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This program celebrates the 79th Independence Day with a focus on national pride and unity. Organized by the Government of India and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the campaign sees extensive activities in Telangana.
On Wednesday, Gangidi Manohar Reddy, the state’s BJP vice-president, shared details with the media. For three days, rallies and flag-hoisting events have occurred nationwide, attracting school and college students, youth, and the general public.
“The Prime Minister encouraged everyone to display the national flag at their homes on August 14 and 15 to express unity and patriotism,” Reddy stated. He pointed out that the national flag unites all citizens, beyond differences of caste, religion, or region.
Reddy also mentioned recent security actions by the Indian Army in Pahalgam, where terrorists were neutralized after attacking civilians. He praised Operation Sindhur for boosting public morale and patriotic spirit.
In Telangana, the BJP aims to have 40 lakh homes display the national flag. Reddy called on citizens to join the campaign and participate in the Tiranga Rally on Necklace Road on August 14 at 10 a.m. This rally will feature BJP Telangana State President Ramchandra Rao, Legislative Council members AVN Reddy and Malka Komuraiah, along with students and party supporters.
Reddy urged everyone in the twin cities to join the rally and embrace the spirit of Independence Day. Present at the announcement were BJP leaders Rani Rudrama and BJYM State President Sevella Mahender.
