Hyderabad: Ahead of Independence Day, the BJP Telangana unit held a state-level workshop on Tuesday at their headquarters. The event marked the start of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, featuring a series of patriotic activities. The workshop highlighted events like the Tiranga Yatra, Partition Wounds Remembrance Day, and other community programs promoting nationalism.
Dr. G. Manohar Reddy, the BJP Telangana State Vice President and Tiranga Yatra Pramukh, led the efforts. V.D. Sharma, a former Madhya Pradesh State President and MP, was the chief guest, representing the central leadership. He emphasized how these programs foster national unity and pride.
The campaign is designed to stir patriotic feelings through Tiranga Yatras across districts and mandals. It also aims to honor freedom fighters and soldiers. Party leaders praised Operation Sindoor as a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership, the bravery of Indian armed forces, and the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat, calling it a pivotal moment for India’s defense and unity.
Motivated by the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat, the party declared that every home would receive a national flag to display from August 13 to 15, as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative.
Senior leaders like BJP State General Secretaries Dr. Kasam Venkateswarlu and Chandrashekhar Tiwari, OBC Morcha President Anand Goud, Mahila Morcha President Dr. Mekala Shilpa Reddy, and State Spokesperson Rani Rudrama attended the meeting. National coordination will be managed by General Secretary Sunil Bansal and Vice President Lata Usendi, while the state coordination committee will be led by Dr. G. Manohar Reddy. These programs aim not only to celebrate Independence Day but also to strengthen the public’s bond with national service, remembrance, and unity under the tricolor flag.
