Hyderabad: The local branch of the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA), a worldwide Buddhist group, recently held a charity event to help schoolchildren in need.

The BLIA Hyderabad responded to a request from Headmistress T Pavana by supplying 271 pairs of shoes and indoor sports kits to students in Classes 1 to 5 at the Government Primary School in Kavadiguda.

Local members of BLIA donated the indoor games, while Madam Morin from the BLIA Singapore Chapter provided the shoes. This act of kindness shows the global community’s dedication to helping others.
