The Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, will open the Brahman Welfare Parishad Sadan building in Hyderabad on May 31. He has also decided to establish a Telugu Sanskrit language university called Mallinathasuri. At a meeting, the Chief Minister asked Dr KV Ramana Chary to perform ChandiYagam and Sudarshan Yagam at the new building. Priests from all over India and famous shrines will be invited to the inauguration ceremony. The CM ordered officials to arrange their travel and stay and Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao to release necessary funds for the program.

A Library with spiritual literature like Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas will also be opened in the Brahmin Parishad Bhavan. The CM said that the building of the Brahmin Parishad should continue as an information and resource center for devotional and spiritual ideologies. He wanted the literature to be made available to create awareness about divine works like Satyanarayana Vrat and yagnas.
