Hyderabad: Senior BRS leader T Harish Rao has accused the government of neglect, which he claims is causing residential schools to shut down and putting students’ futures at risk.

Rao explained that the government has failed to pay rent for these schools for the last ten months. As a result, the owner of a minority residential school in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district locked the school. He said this incident shows how poorly residential schools are being managed, disrupting students’ education.

Criticizing the government, Rao pointed out the administration’s failure in managing educational institutions, particularly Gurukul schools. He questioned the Chief Minister, asking when the overdue rents would be paid and how long the Education Minister would ignore the worsening state of the education system.

Rao emphasized that the issue isn’t just about unpaid rents but also about the students’ education being disrupted. He warned that if the government continues to neglect its responsibilities, it will harm the quality of education in Telangana in the long run.
