Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi), is expected to give a presentation on the Musi Riverfront development project. This presentation will compare the previous BRS government’s plan with the current proposal by the Congress government. The event will take place at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday.
KT Rama Rao has strongly criticized the Congress government’s proposal for the Musi Riverfront project. He claims that it is a major scam, allegedly directed by Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha. Rama Rao questioned why the cost of the project has been increased to Rs 1.5 lakh crore. He emphasized that during his government’s time, they had already completed sewage treatment plants, and there is no need for such a huge expenditure now.
City leaders, including former ministers, MLAs, and other party members, have been invited to attend the meeting at Telangana Bhavan. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. In addition to discussing the Musi Riverfront project, the leaders will also talk about HYDRA and its impact on the people of the city.
