BRS government faces criticism from Rajeev Sagar over unfounded allegations by opposition

Telangana Foods Chairman Mayday Rajeev Sagar has criticized the opposition parties for making unfounded comments against the BRS government. He stated that these parties are unable to accept the progress made in Telangana under the leadership of CM KCR. Rajeev Sagar emphasized that the State government is dedicated to the development of the Christian community in Telangana, allocating Rs.2,200 crores in this year’s budget for their welfare.

Over the past nine years, Rs.32.53 crores have been spent on the development of 411 churches in Telangana. Additionally, the government has granted two acres of land in Uppal Bhagayath for the construction of a self-respecting building for Christians, with a budget of Rs.10 crores allocated for its construction. The government also offers overseas scholarships worth up to Rs.20 lakhs for Christian youth and provides a facility of Rs.one lakh with 100 percent subsidy for the Christian community.

Rajeev Sagar highlighted that the entire Christian community supports Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, which is why the opposition parties are resorting to baseless criticism against the BRS government.
