Gadwal: BRS State Secretary, Nagar Doddi Venkata Ramulu, along with Jogulamba Gadwal District BRS leaders, have condemned the recent arrests of TRS leaders. These leaders were detained for attempting to block ministers who were inspecting the Gattu Lift Irrigation Scheme in Gattu Mandal.

The BRS leaders criticized the government, accusing it of failing to fulfill promises made by the Congress party, such as the complete waiver of farmers’ loans. They claimed that anyone who questions the government faces arrest, making it seem like raising valid concerns has become a crime.

They also accused the government, led by Revanth Reddy, of turning democratic governance into a form of police rule. According to them, people are being arrested simply for asking about unfulfilled promises. The leaders encouraged the public to stand up against what they described as an oppressive regime, warning that in the future, even speaking out could be treated as a crime.

BRS leaders further stated that the current number of arrests under this government is higher than in any previous administration. They claimed that students, unemployed youth, government workers, and other groups who question the government have been subjected to police harassment.
