Peddapalli: As local body elections approach, BRS leaders Geetla Shankar Reddy and former Sarpanch Kurra Nukaraju from Antargaon Mandal in the Ramagundam constituency have joined the Congress party. They made this move in the presence of MLA Raj Thakur on Saturday.

Raj Thakur encouraged Shankar Reddy and Nukaraju to strengthen the Congress at the grassroots level. He urged them to collaborate for the success of Congress candidates in the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Gram Panchayat elections.

Thakur highlighted that the Congress party is committed to fulfilling its promises after gaining power. He emphasized their focus on the people’s welfare and their efforts to make the state a model in various fields. The party is advancing with the vision of “Rising Telangana.”

At the event, several Mandal Congress Party leaders, including Maddi Venkatesh Goud and Kampelli Santhosh, were present. Corporation President Bonthala Rajesh, along with leaders Deeti Balaraju and Marelli Rajireddy, also attended.
