BRS party leaders will gather at Telangana Bhavan to plan statewide protests. The meeting focuses on the government’s broken promise to give 42 percent reservations to Backward Classes communities.

T Srinivas Yadav, a senior BRS leader, announced this decision during a press meeting on Sunday. He strongly criticized the Congress party for what he called another betrayal of BC communities.

Yadav pointed out serious problems with how the government handled the caste census. He said the survey was done incorrectly across Telangana. The Dedicated Commission details have not been shared with the public, he added.

The BRS leader also attacked Congress leaders for skipping the protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. He said this showed their lack of commitment to BC rights.

Yadav criticized the Revanth government for releasing a Government Order without proper implementation of the BC Bill. He reminded everyone that courts had already rejected the previous GO about Backward Classes.

The new GO 46 was issued on Saturday, but it cannot be used for local elections, Yadav explained. This makes it essentially useless for its intended purpose.

MLC Dasoju Sravan made stronger accusations against the Congress government. He claimed officials are deliberately trying to deny Backward Classes their rightful reservations.

Sravan said the government is systematically avoiding its 42 percent reservation promise. Even the current 23 percent BC reservation is being blocked by the Revanth Reddy government, he alleged.

The MLC highlighted that the Supreme Court has clear rules about reservation increases. Any enhancement requires completing the Triple Test and conducting a proper caste census through a Dedicated Commission.

The government failed to follow these mandatory procedures, Sravan pointed out. He demanded that if officials cannot fulfill their promises, they should admit their failure instead of misleading people.

The BRS meeting will create a detailed protest strategy to pressure the government into honoring its commitments to Backward Classes across Telangana.
