The BRS party has ignored the important aspects of the Telangana Movement – water, funds, and employment. Naini Rajender Reddy, the Congress candidate for Warangal West constituency, expressed this during a media interaction in Hanumakonda. He mentioned that people have lost trust in the BRS party after witnessing their actions. The KCR Government, led by the BRS party, failed to fulfill the aspirations of farmers and unemployed youth. Only the KCR family has benefited from the formation of a separate state.

Naini also highlighted the shortcomings of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. The National Dam Safety Authority found faults in the planning, design, and quality of the project. The Congress government had originally planned the project with a budget of Rs 35,000 crore, but the KCR Government misused funds for redesigning the project. This has pushed Telangana into a debt trap.

Naini accused the BRS leaders of resorting to attacks against Congress cadres due to their fear of defeat. He criticized the sitting MLA, D Vinay Bhaskar, for not fulfilling his promises such as establishing a junior college, bus station, and hospital in Kazipet. Naini alleged that BRS leaders have been involved in land grabbing and settlements for the past decade without addressing the needs of the people.
