Senior Congress leader Erra Shekhar has joined the Pink party, BRS, on Sunday. He joined in the presence of BRS working president KT Rama Rao. Shekhar stated that he will work under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who has been leading the state towards progress. He mentioned that he has previously worked with KCR when he was the Mahabubnagar MP.
Shekhar explained that he made the decision to join the party in order to support the programs aimed at uplifting the Mudiraj community in the state. He acknowledged that in the past, the situation of the Mudiraj community was dire. However, with initiatives like the distribution of fishlings and Mission Kakatiya, there has been a positive change among the community members.
