Gadwal, Telangana – Kuruva Pallayya, a state leader from Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vidhyarthi (BRSV), has raised serious concerns about the allocation of Indiramma housing in Aiza mandal. He submitted a formal complaint to the Superintendent at the MPDO office, demanding immediate action and a full investigation.
Pallayya accused local officials of manipulating the selection process for housing beneficiaries across 28 Gram Panchayats and the Aiza Municipality. He believes corruption and favoritism are at play.
According to him, people who already own pucca houses are receiving new homes by paying bribes or using their connections with Congress party leaders. Meanwhile, truly homeless and poor families are being ignored.
He stated that the housing scheme, meant to support the underprivileged, is being misused for political gain. “Houses are being granted based on recommendation letters from politicians, not on actual need,” Pallayya alleged.
To ensure fairness, he demanded a vigilance inquiry into the irregularities. He insisted that the selection should be transparent and free from political influence.
Pallayya also called for more inclusive Gram Sabhas, where villagers can openly discuss and decide who truly deserves housing. He believes involving the community will prevent bias and ensure that only the needy receive support.
He asked officials to uphold the true spirit of public welfare and stop turning essential schemes into tools for political favoritism.
