Hyderabad: The South Central Railway started the Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0 on Friday across its zone.
Every year, pensioners must submit a Life Certificate in November to continue receiving their pension. To make this process easier, the railway has launched a large-scale digital campaign. This initiative aims to help pensioners, especially senior ones, by allowing them to submit their life certificates digitally. It offers several benefits, including convenience, saving time, and ensuring security.
A senior officer explained that pensioners or their families need to download two apps to use this service. First, they should go to the Google Play Store and search for the “AadhaarFace RD (Early Access) Application” made by UIDAI. They should get the latest version, which is currently 0.7.43. After installing this, they need to download another app called ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ from the Google Play Store, which is on version 3.6.3.
By using these apps, pensioners can submit their life certificates easily without needing to visit a physical office.
