    Hyderabad: Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Sriganesh distributed cheques to women on Wednesday as part of the Telangana Government’s Prajapalana Vijayotsava initiative. The cheques were provided to women under the interest-free loan scheme for self-help groups.

    A total of Rs 2 crore 36 lakh was distributed among 240 women from 24 self-help groups. The initiative aims to support women financially and help them achieve self-reliance.

    During the event, the Secunderabad MLA highlighted the State government’s commitment to implementing welfare schemes for women. He emphasized the goal of empowering women to become entrepreneurs and active contributors to Telangana’s development.

    The programme witnessed the participation of Cantonment Board Joint CEO Vijay Pallavi, MEPMA officer Prakash, bank officials, and hundreds of women.
