Oxford Grammar High School celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiastic participation. The school organized a grand celebration on June 21st to promote the physical and mental well-being of students through yoga practice. The event emphasized the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

The celebration included various competitions like essay writing, poster making, and art and craft projects related to World Yoga Day. A special yoga session was conducted by renowned yogi instructor Amita Mishra Chellaboina, guiding students through different yoga postures and breathing exercises. Approximately 3000 students from both SSC and CBSE streams actively participated in these activities.

The students showed dedication to health and wellness during the yoga session, showcasing their commitment. This participation highlighted the school’s holistic education approach and allowed students to be part of a larger community celebration of yoga. It was a memorable experience for all participants, promoting unity and well-being among the students.

Oxford Grammar School students also took part in Yoga Day celebrations at Nizam College Grounds from 06.00 am to 07.30 am, with Sri G. Kishan Reddy, the Honourable Central Minister, as the Chief Guest. The school’s proactive approach and significant student involvement in International Yoga Day activities demonstrate its commitment to fostering a healthy and balanced lifestyle among its students.
