The Chief Justice of Telangana High Court, accompanied by several judges and the Special Chief Secretary (Roads and Buildings), conducted a site inspection at Rajendranagar on Tuesday. The visit focused on reviewing the location earmarked for the construction of residential villas for High Court judges and assessing preparations for the upcoming ground breaking ceremony.
The Government of Telangana is implementing a major infrastructure project titled “Construction of High Court Building Complex” at Rajendranagar. This prestigious development aims to provide comprehensive facilities for the judiciary, including both institutional buildings and residential accommodations for judges.
Currently, construction work is underway on institutional buildings spread across 40 acres in Zone-I of the complex. The project represents a significant investment in judicial infrastructure by the state government to enhance the working and living conditions of the judiciary.
An additional 60 acres of land in Zone-II has been designated specifically for the construction of residential villas and associated amenities. These facilities will cater to the Chief Justice and other judges of the Telangana High Court, providing them with modern housing within the complex.
The judiciary authorities have scheduled the ground breaking ceremony for the residential villas on April 5, 2026. This ceremonial event will mark the official commencement of construction activities for the residential component of the High Court complex.
During the site visit, the Chief Justice and accompanying judges inspected the designated area and provided specific directions to officials. The R&B Department officers were present along with representatives from the contractor and consulting firms assigned to the project.
The construction work has been awarded to M/s DEC Infrastructure and Projects (India) Pvt. Ltd., while M/s Team One India Pvt. Ltd. serves as the project consultants. Both firms have been instructed to proceed with necessary arrangements for the ground breaking ceremony scheduled next month.
The officials have been directed to ensure all preparations are completed in time for the ceremony on April 5, 2026. The project represents a comprehensive effort to create a self-contained judicial complex with both professional and residential facilities for the High Court judiciary in Telangana.
