    A tragic explosion at the Sigachi factory in Pashamilaram, Sangareddy district has claimed 45 lives. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the site today to oversee the rescue efforts and understand the situation.

    Traveling from his Jubilee Hills residence, CM Revanth Reddy inspected the site and talked with officials about the explosion’s causes. He questioned whether the Sigachi factory followed safety rules and asked about the inspection procedures in place.

    The Chief Minister ordered a detailed investigation to find out what caused the incident, involving experts to analyze the situation. He also asked for a clear report from the factory management on their response to the tragedy.

    During the visit, CM Revanth Reddy stressed the need for future safety measures to prevent similar incidents. He instructed officials to gather precise information instead of assumptions. Ministers Sridhar Babu, Damodar Rajanarsimha, Vivek, and Ponguleti Srinivas joined him in inspecting the site.

    Rescue teams discovered that 143 workers were at the factory during the explosion. Of them, 34 suffered serious injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals. Efforts continue to search through the debris, with reports suggesting that 29 bodies are difficult to identify. So far, six bodies have been identified, but 17 people remain missing. Fortunately, 57 workers escaped unharmed.

    Later today, CM Revanth Reddy will visit the injured in local hospitals, expressing his support. The situation is still developing, and the death toll might increase as rescue operations continue.
