Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is looking for strong BC leaders to run in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. He wants to have BC leaders in at least four out of the 12 general seats.

Recently, N Madhu and B Rammohan from the BRS party, who are from BC communities, are trying to contest from the Medak and Secunderabad seats. Another BC leader, Suresh Shetkar, is hoping to run in Zaheerabad.

There are many aspirants from the Reddy community in every Lok Sabha segment. BC leaders are pushing hard to get tickets for the south Telangana seats – Khammam, Nalgonda, Bhongir, Mahbubnagar, and Chevella.

Revanth Reddy plans to give tickets to BC leaders for Medak, Secunderabad, Zaheerabad, and Karimnagar. He is also looking for strong BC candidates for the Nizamabad seat. However, there is some hesitation due to film producer Dil Raju being interested in running.

The TPCC leadership has been told by the high command to prioritize social justice amidst criticism of Reddy dominance in the party and government. They believe that giving tickets to BC candidates will help garner support and potentially win more MP seats. Reddy’s goal is to secure at least 12 Lok Sabha seats, and groundwork for this has already begun.
