Diageo Company recently donated 50 breathalyzers to the State police department to help prevent drunk driving. The event took place at the police headquarters and was attended by top police officials, including Director-General Ravi Gupta and Additional DGP Mahesh M Bhagwat.
The Director-General expressed his gratitude to Diageo and NGO CSR Box for their support. He emphasized the importance of using these devices to enhance the police department’s ability to control drunk driving and ultimately save lives. He highlighted the dangers of drunk driving and praised the efforts of the police in preventing it.
Additional DGP Bhagwat stressed the importance of responsible driving and the role of modern devices in preventing accidents. Hyderabad’s Traffic Additional Commissioner Vishwa Prasad mentioned that the city traffic police are actively working to reduce drunk driving incidents.
Diageo officials reiterated their commitment to preventing drunk driving by providing quality breathalyzers to the police. They are also working with regional transport offices to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving.
