Hyderabad: In an effort to restore peace between the Muslim and Tribal communities in Jainoor, Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will meet with representatives of both groups on September 28 or 29. The purpose of this meeting is to promote peace and prevent any future attempts to create tension between the communities.
Before this meeting, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, the Telangana Government’s Advisor for SC, ST, OBC & Minorities, held a high-level discussion at the Telangana Secretariat. The leaders in attendance stressed the importance of both communities working together to resolve their differences and return to the peaceful relations they had before the unrest began.
During this discussion, both Muslim and Tribal leaders made it clear that they do not have any inherent conflicts. They blamed outside forces for stirring up trouble and taking advantage of a minor incident to create division. The leaders committed to ensuring peace and continuing the strong bonds of brotherhood that have existed for generations.
Shabbir Ali also shared that Muslim leaders were concerned about recent efforts to disrupt the peace in their areas. However, he emphasized that both sides are determined to resolve any misunderstandings locally and maintain harmony between the two communities.
Minister Seethakka, who had previously spoken with Gond tribal leaders in Utnoor and Jainoor, shared her observations from those meetings. She assured everyone that the Gond Tribals have no hostility towards Muslims or any other group. She described the Gond people as peaceful, focused on their livelihoods while preserving their culture and traditions.
