Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has sent a notice to film producer Allu Aravind. On Tuesday, they accused him of building an unauthorized structure at his Allu Business Park on Road No 45 in Jubilee Hills.
The complex was allowed to have two cellars and a ground-plus-four floors. However, they added an unapproved fifth-floor penthouse. GHMC has asked for reasons why this illegal addition should not be demolished.
The building is part of Allu Aravind’s project that began in November 2023 to honor the 101st birth anniversary of Allu Ramalingaiah. It covers a 1,226-square-yard area and includes offices for Geetha Arts and Allu Arts, among others.
After reports of the violation surfaced, the Circle-18 Deputy Municipal Commissioner ordered an inspection. As a result, the corporation issued a notice to Allu Aravind, asking him to address the issue before considering demolition.
