Hyderabad police have imposed restrictions on New Year celebrations to maintain public order. City Commissioner of Police K Srinivas Reddy issued guidelines for hotels, clubs, bars, and restaurants/pubs. Organizers must apply for permission at least 10 days in advance and install CCTV cameras at entry and exit points and parking areas. Adequate security guards should be provided for traffic management and security. Driving under the influence will result in a suspended license, and minors are not allowed to drive. Silencers on two-wheelers should not be removed, and noise pollution should be avoided. Obscenity and nudity are prohibited in performances, and sound levels should be maintained at or below 45 decibels. Firearms are not allowed at the event, and passes should not exceed the venue’s capacity. Minors are not allowed in programs for couples, pubs, and bars. Drug use is strictly prohibited, and organizers should pay attention to areas where drugs are sold clandestinely. Liquor should not be served beyond permitted hours, and arrangements should be made for drunk customers to reach their destinations safely. Fireworks are not allowed, and instructions from fire officers should be followed.
