The people of Maharashtra are going to have a new temple to visit soon. The Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Balaji temple will be built in Navi Mumbai on 10 acres of land. The Bhoomi Pooja ritual, which is a ceremony to bless the land, happened on Wednesday. The Chief Minister and Deputy CM laid the foundation stone for the temple construction.

The Chief Minister said that this is a memorable day for Maharashtra. The replica of the Tirupathi Balaji temple will be built in Navi Mumbai. People who can’t travel to Tirumala will finally be able to see Balaji Venkateswara in Mumbai. The temple plan is ready and the construction will start immediately. The temple will be made of stone and will resemble Hindu temple architecture and sculptures.

The Raymond Group CMD has donated Rs.60-75cr for the construction of the temple. Besides the temple, there will also be a Temple Tank, Alankara Mandapam, Ratha Mandapam, Vahana Mandapam, and Four Mada Streets surrounding the shrine. The construction will be completed in two years.
