Hyderabad Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has stated that the state government is committed to filling two lakh government vacancies within a year, despite criticism from BRS leaders. The government has already appointed 6,956 staff nurses and plans to fill 15,000 jobs in the police department. Revanth also mentioned plans to revamp the TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) and fulfill the promise made by Sonia Gandhi before the elections.
Revanth expressed disappointment in former Minister T Harish Rao for criticizing the government’s decision to appoint staff nurses. He urged Harish Rao to consider the happiness of these girls who have received appointment letters. Revanth also criticized the previous government for prioritizing the employment of one family and questioned why the children of others were not considered.
The Chief Minister highlighted that unemployment was a major concern during the Telangana agitation, but the BRS failed to address it after coming to power. He emphasized that nothing will hinder the recruitment process for vacant posts, even if those in power feel inconvenienced.
