    CM Orders Strict Action Against Attackers of Chilkur Balaji Temple Priest

    Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed the Cyberabad Police Commissioner to take strict action against those responsible for attacking Chilkur Balaji Temple head priest, CS Rangarajan.

    On Monday, the Chief Minister spoke with Rangarajan over the phone. Chevella MLA K Yadaiah facilitated the conversation. During the call, Reddy assured the priest that the police had been instructed to act firmly. He told Rangarajan not to worry, as strict action would be taken against the attackers.

    Revanth Reddy also recalled his visit to the temple alongside senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh before the elections. He promised government support for the temple and said he would visit again when possible.

    Rangarajan expressed his shock over the attack. He said it took him time to recover, but he appreciated the police for handling the situation well.

    Meanwhile, Endowments Minister Konda Surekha condemned the attack. She stated that violence in the name of ‘Rama Rajya’ goes against the principles of Lord Ram.
