Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy praised Chikitha Taniparthi for her remarkable achievement at the World Youth Archery Championships in Canada.
Chikitha Taniparthi, a young archer from Sultanpur village in Peddapalli district, made history. At just 20 years old, she became the first Indian to secure the women’s under-21 individual gold medal in the compound archery category at the prestigious event.
In the final match, Chikitha triumphed over Park Yerin from Korea, clinching the Under-21 Archery title.
