Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy praised the Kshatriya community for their significant contributions to the development of Hyderabad in various sectors.
Speaking at the ‘Abhinandan Sabha’ organized by the Kshatriya Seva Samiti in the city on Sunday, he acknowledged the community’s hard work and perseverance, which has led to their success in many fields. He highlighted veteran film actor Krishnamraju as one of the notable personalities from the community. He also mentioned Bollywood actor Prabhas, who has gained international fame with his blockbuster film ‘Baahubali,’ now competing with Hollywood.
Revanth Reddy also spoke about Congress senior leader Boseraju’s efforts in bringing the Congress party to power in Telangana. Although Boseraju did not receive a party ticket to contest in the Karnataka elections, he worked tirelessly for the party’s victory. He mentioned that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi recognized Boseraju’s dedication and rewarded him by making him a minister. Revanth Reddy cited Boseraju and Srinivasa Varma as examples of commitment and recognition.
The Chief Minister encouraged the Kshatriya community to support individuals who aspire to excel in politics. He assured that opportunities would be provided to Kshatriya members in politics. He reminded the audience that Srinivasa Raju has been appointed as an advisor to the Telangana Government.
Revanth Reddy asked the community to bring their concerns to his attention through these appointed leaders. He also mentioned that Srini Raju has been appointed as the Chairman of the Young India Skill University, which reflects the government’s commitment to providing opportunities to the Kshatriya community.
The Chief Minister concluded by saying that their fight on public issues is inspired by freedom fighters like Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komuram Bheem. He urged the Kshatriya community to invest in the Future City and assured them of the government’s support. He also promised that the State government would provide land and assistance to build a Kshatriya Bhavan.
