Hyderabad plans to build a grand “Gateway of Hyderabad” featuring the world’s tallest tower and an eco-park at Himayatsagar along the Outer Ring Road. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has proposed this as part of the Musi Rejuvenation Project to attract tourists. Officials have been asked to finalize designs and initiate tenders for the project within two months.

The ambitious project aims to enhance the Hyderabad Core Urban City Area with multiple features. The Gateway of Hyderabad will be positioned near the proposed Gandhi Sarovar at Himayat Sagar. An eco-park will be set up on one side of the ORR, while the iconic tower will rise on the other side near Bapu Ghat. This tower is slated to become the tallest globally. An elevated gateway will connect visitors to the eco-park and tower, termed as “the Gateway of Hyderabad.” The Bapu Ghat area will be developed into a world-class zone to impress visitors.
