During the review session, the Chief Minister emphasized that sanitation, mosquito prevention, and garbage collection must receive the highest priority in core urban areas. He directed officials to ensure systematic implementation of these essential services to improve the quality of life for urban residents and prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases.
The CM issued specific instructions regarding the modernization of street lighting maintenance systems across urban areas. He directed that technology should be leveraged to monitor and manage street lighting infrastructure, with all systems to be linked with a centralized control room. This integration aims to enable immediate resolution of issues as soon as they are reported or detected.
Addressing food safety concerns, Revanth Reddy directed officials to implement systematic monitoring of food quality in hotels and restaurants throughout the city. He suggested that authorities should consider introducing a grading system for hotels and restaurants based on their compliance with food quality standards, which would help consumers make informed choices about dining establishments.
The Chief Minister also focused on fire safety measures in commercial establishments. He directed that strict action be taken to ensure the implementation of fire safety regulations in commercial communities and business communities across the city. Officials were instructed to ensure that all necessary precautions and safety measures are properly implemented and maintained.
