The Chief Minister’s visit also covers the launch of ORR Service Roads and Bridges worth ₹339 crore, which will improve accessibility along the Outer Ring Road corridor. These projects are designed to ease traffic congestion and provide better connectivity to residential and commercial areas.
Road widening and improvement works form a significant part of today’s announcements. The Nanakramguda to Gachibowli Road Widening project, allocated ₹26.5 crore, will address traffic bottlenecks in the IT corridor. The Kollur Interchange Approach Ramps are also part of the infrastructure package, aimed at streamlining traffic flow at key junctions. These road projects are expected to benefit thousands of daily commuters who travel through the technology hub of Hyderabad.
The development package extends beyond transportation infrastructure to include social welfare projects. A Young India Integrated School with a budget of ₹200 crore will be launched, providing quality educational facilities in the area. Additionally, Working Women’s Hostels in Madhapur and Nanakramguda, costing ₹14.4 crore, will offer safe and affordable accommodation for women professionals working in the IT sector. These facilities are expected to support the growing workforce in the region.
The comprehensive infrastructure initiative reflects the state government’s focus on developing the Cyberabad region, which houses major IT companies and residential complexes. The projects span across multiple sectors including transportation, civic administration, education, and social welfare. With the inauguration and foundation laying ceremonies scheduled for today, the government aims to accelerate development in the area and improve the quality of life for residents and professionals working in the region.
